NEW JERSEY voters plan to legalize recreational marijuana.
On November 3, 2020, voters are being asked to legalize a commercial recreational marijuana program. The outcome is a forgone conclusion. Our proprietary Greenmark AST algorithm predicts a 71.4% success performance rating on the total voters’ response. With the state strapped for revenue from fighting the Covid-19 virus, adult marijuana can add $100 million in the first year and $1 billion over six years with very little efforts. For this reason alone, voters will jump on the gravy train and enjoy the ride with the other states that were progressive enough to understand the long-term potential of recreational marijuana.
As our algorithm correctly predicted in early 2019, "… don’t rely on [Governor] Murphy to push the legislators this year even though he has the backing of the voters. Attempted to obtain a bipartisan consensus with Republicans who follow the noise from Reality TV Trump without considering the consequences has deprived taxpayers of reaping the benefits enjoyed by the black market. Only with a voter’s referendum can the “noise” stop. Look for the citizens to rebel and demand a referendum in 2020.”
With the approval and the issuance of licensing, Greenmark AST foresees first-year sales in the $475 million to $640 million range; anticipate 2024 sales in the $1.3 billion to $1.7 billion range.
